Increasing Youth Voice in Community Dialogue and Decision-Making


Youth Leadership for Vital Communities (YLVC) was a four year initiative begun in 2001 to increase youth voice in community dialogue and decision-making. At the close of the initiative in December 2004, evaluation confirmed that goals of the demonstration project were achieved. The evaluation also identified five critical elements for successful public engagement that builds community social capital.
